The Office of Student Engagement and the Fraternity & Sorority Life team are pleased to present the community with a brand new accreditation program, The Journey. Below you will find all the information and resources necessary to successfully complete The Journey accreditation process, which is the FSL community's year-long pursuit of fraternal excellence.
The Office of Student Engagement and the Fraternity & Sorority Life team are committed to the undergraduate experience. Through co-curricular programming and dynamic support networks, we strive to empower students through their collegiate journey, linking them to possibilities that engage their pioneering spirit and create connections within the University of Denver community. The purpose of The Journey program is to ensure that recognized chapters at the University of Denver are meeting the expectations of what it means to be a part of this community. The Office of Student Engagement - Fraternity & Sorority Life believes that as one chapter excels it also helps to elevate the rest of the community. The program is not a "one size fits all" model, but instead encourages the DU chapters to assess their current reality, determine goals to fit their individual chapter needs, develop action plans to meet their established goals, and reflect on successes and opportunities for improvement. Chapters have the opportunity to continually grow and improve, achieving the goals they set for themselves in each of eight Points of Emphasis created to provide congruence with the commonly shared values of fraternities and sororities.
