Panhellenic Association (PHA) Recruitment

We are so excited that you are interested in learning more about us!

The DU Panhellenic Association consists of six chapters dedicated to scholarship, leadership, service, and sisterhood. By choosing to go through the recruitment process, you will the potential to meet each of our organizations to find the one you most connect with!

It is not guaranteed that a chapter will participate in Continuous Open Bidding in the Winter or Spring, but it is guaranteed that all six chapters will participate in Formal Recruitment in the Fall!

Chapters participate in one or more forms of recruitment each year: Formal Recruitment and Continuous Open Bidding (COB). All of our chapters participate in Formal Recruitment in the fall and some chapters participate in Continuous Open Bidding throughout the Winter and Spring Quarters.

Formal Membership Recruitment takes place every Fall Quarter. Six of our sorority chapters are affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference umbrella organization and participate in Formal Membership Recruitment. It is a four-day values-based process which allows participants to meet each organization and find their best fit through a mutual selection process.

The registration process for 2017 recruitment is now open!  Please use the following link to register:

Continuous Open Bidding, or COB, is an informal recruitment process during winter and spring quarter. Only two or three of our six Panhellenic organizations participate each academic term with various events to introduce interested women to their sisterhood. These numbers of new members are typically much smaller than formal recruitment!

Additionally, informal recruitment is the process that our affiliate chapter, Alpha Delta Chi, uses to bring in new members. They do not participate in Formal Recruitment processes.
